Medical limitations don't always mean giving up training. More often they mean the load needs to be adapted correctly.
Medical Fitness is coaching work with a higher level of knowledge, where physical load is adapted to a person's health. The aim is to let people train safely and effectively when a standard program isn't suitable.
I work with people who need a more careful and individual approach to building their training process.
Diagnosis and treatment are a doctor's job. I don't diagnose or prescribe treatment.
Restoring function after injuries and surgery is a rehabilitation specialist's job. I step in once a specialist clears you for training load.
Physiotherapy procedures aren't within my competence. My work is a well-designed training process.
It is coaching work with a higher level of knowledge and adapted physical load.
Diagnosis and treatment
A specialist decides what load is allowed
If needed — restoring function
Training adapted to the condition and recommendations
A safe, long-term process
Health issues don't always mean the end of activity. They mean the training needs to be adapted correctly.
I select exercises so that training is as safe as possible and doesn't provoke flare-ups.
I help combine training, nutrition and blood glucose control correctly.
In every case, training load is adapted to the person's health status.
The training program is designed with all possible risks in mind.
The load is selected to improve joint function without overloading it.
Programs are built according to the stage of pregnancy or postpartum recovery.
These are the 8 most common cases — there are many more variations, too many to list here. In general, I work with any health limitation, as long as your doctor has approved training. Whatever your situation, we'll work it out together and get you to your result.
Every case requires individual assessment. Training does not replace medical treatment or consultation with a doctor.
Any health issue isn't an obstacle to training. It's simply a feature that needs to be accounted for. My job is to adapt the program so it's safe, comfortable and effective specifically for you.
You tell me about your goal and health, I ask clarifying questions and explain what the work could look like.
When needed, I review doctors' reports, test and examination results, and load recommendations.
I choose exercises, volume and intensity to suit your condition and the specialists' recommendations.
Throughout, we track how you feel and how you respond to the load, and adjust the program.
If your condition changes or new symptoms appear, we pause and you consult your doctor.
Medical Fitness doesn't replace treatment or rehabilitation. The work is done within a trainer's competence and only when a medical specialist has cleared you for physical activity.
A surcharge of up to 20 zł per session is added to the standard personal training price, depending on the complexity of the case.
